Meet Dr. Bob

Dr. Robert “Bob” Johnson, D.D.S. is a native of Massachusetts (who still retains his accent) but has called Illinois home for over forty years. He attended dental school at the University of Pennsylvania and after receiving his Doctorate in Dental Medicine, he then completed a two year residency at Children's Memorial Medical Center in Chicago (now the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital) and a three year Master’s program at Northwestern University’s Dental School.

In 1982, after several years of extensive examinations, Dr. Bob became a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Bob is currently an assistant clinical professor at Northwestern University Medical School and has been a senior attending practitioner at Lurie Children's Hospital and an attending practitioner with NorthShore University Healthcare Systems for over forty year. He has lectured and participated in numerous clinical programs sponsored by dental organizations. Dr. Bob’s professional interests research and technology in all aspects of pediatric and laser dentistry.

 

Outside the office, Dr. Bob has been married for over forty years and is the father of two adult children who grew up in Glenview. He has interests in soccer and has served as an AYSO referee for many years. Dr. Bob has called Glenview home for over thirty years and has proudly served his North Shore community in private practice since 1980 and loves caring for kids of all ages, patients with special needs and their family members.
